Para Hills
Including Salisbury, Tea Tree Gully
The suburb of Para Hills is situated in the foothills of Adelaide, and is part of the City Of Salisbury. Part of the suburb is also part of the City Of Tee Tree Gully.
Historically the area was “Para Hills Farm”, founded by the Goodall family around 1850. The local post office was built and began trading in 1961. The Little Para river, (now more like a creek) runs through the area and was the original source of water for the farm and smaller acreages as the suburb expanded.
Today it is part of the thriving outer areas of the city of Adelaide and has a booming trade and small business community.
